Please, remember: On March 1 (TOMORROW!!!) starts The Brontë Sisters Reading Challenge 2011 hosted by Whitney @ She is Too fond of Books (- go and join us here !!) and I have persuaded my Reading Club to read Jane Eyre next (yay! We're starting some day in March.)

AntwortenLöschenI enjoy reading, but would you believe I have NEVER read Jane Eyre!! I know, that's rather a crime, isn't it? I've seen the Orson Wells/Joan Fontaine version of the movie and really liked it, but my daughter, who HAS read the book, tells me that version left alot out. Maybe one day I'll get around to reading it.
I like that you are a John Garfield fan too. He was under-rated and underknown, IMHO.
