LöschenI just reviewed the film "The Postman Always Rings Twice." I recall that the film was based on the James M. Cain novel of the same name. It's a fantastic story, so I'm quite sure "Sinful Woman" is equally as wonderful. Unfortunately, my library doesn't have that title in its system.
AntwortenLöschenI finished my James Cagney autobiography. I loved it! He was an amazing (yet humble) man.
Still reading "Positive Words, Powerful Results," but when I was in the library on Friday, I was browsing the "Non-Fiction New Release" table. Came away with "Gilded Lives, Fatal Voyage," about the Titanic's first-class passengers and their world. Also got "The Royal Stuarts"...a history of the family that shaped Britain. Haven't started either of them yet, but they look interesting.
While I enjoy historical fiction, I often tend to gravitate to historical non-fiction as well. I am definitely in love with the past.

GILDE LIVEY, FATAL VOYAGE sounds intriguing! Will add that to my wishlist.. THE ROYAL STUARTS sounds also great! Hope you'll enjoy your reads! I also love historical non-fiction..

LöschenThe Night Circus is a really neat little magical book - it took me a little bit to get into, but it was worth it in the end. :)
